Hearing loss of my system

Everyday, everytime, and every second I wonder "what are they going to do, with my hearing loss, that i have? Are they going to make a face and make me want to leave? What are they going to think and talk about from this moment on?
BESTEST FRIEND !
All I wonder is about my hearing loss. I want to join every event, activity, and programs that are available to every individual. But one concern that i have is my hearing loss.

Martha--
I think you have asked some really important questions here in this post. What can you do? How can you be a part of every opportunity that comes your way? I think the first step is getting the heading aides. Because missing out on hearing what is going on is really a disadvantage. :( I wish there was a way to support you... but at this point... it has to be you supporting yourself.

Now, about your comment, we flew Alaska Airlines to California. It's expensive. There's no way around that. The only way *I* was able to afford it was for me to use a whole heck of a lot of my frequent flyer miles AND to use my $50 companion fare ticket. (People who have and AK Airline credit card get a once a year coupon that let's one person travel for only $50 while the other travels at the full price.) I know Nunapitchuk at one point, ask for volunteers to donate their "companion fare" coupons. I am already using my this year or I would offer it up to you. It's really expensive though, any way you figure it. That's why here Erin and the student council have been trying to raise the money for the last two years.

Good luck! I hope it works out for you!
